Financial Peace UNIVERSITY

Financial Peace University lays out the entire foundation for handling money in just nine (once a week) lessons — it’s the fastest, most streamlined way to get control of your personal finances. This Life Group is organized around Colossians 2:7: “Rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” We will have fun as we study, discuss, and then apply the Biblical skills that make room for God to work in our lives, such as: Appreciating how much God cares for us; Understanding true obedience through the Holy Spirit; Deepening our prayer life, and more. As women in all seasons of life walking in the Word, this life group is dedicated to applying biblical truths from various portions of Scripture, often guided by additional study materials or devotionals. We gather monthly to serve the residents of the Dulles Health and Rehab Center, a facility specializing in rehabilitation long-term, and respite care. Each second Sunday of the month, our mission is to share the Word of God through Scripture, music, and prayer, aiming to provide love and comfort to all the residents and staff.

Life Groups meet regularly, in homes, coffee shops, parks and anywhere in-between to study God’s word, primarily through our weekly discussion questions, practice the same spiritual rhythms experienced through Rooted, and change the world through outreach.

Life Groups tend to meet either weekly or bi-weekly on different days and times. Most groups meet for 10 weeks at a time with breaks built in throughout the year.
